Present

Specializing in food, travel, lifestyle and wellness content, I have more than 15 years of writing experience under my belt. I contribute to a variety of publications writing features, profiles and trend and analysis pieces, and work directly with brands creating content, generating web copy and writing brand-focused messaging, from newsletters to sales decks and executive summaries. Fact: I have never missed a deadline in my career!

LITTLE FOODIE CLUB 

2016 – 2020

Little Foodie Club was a revolutionary baby food delivery company that disrupted the baby food sector. As the founder I grew the company from a small local service into a national brand, winning celebrity endorsements and awards along the way. I oversaw all areas of the business, managing dedicated teams of people in areas from product development, operations, customer service and marketing and developing the brand’s distinctive tone of voice. Due to Covid-19 and its impact on the economy, I decided to close the business in 2020.

URBANOLOGIE

2015 – 2019

Urbanologie was a high-end private members club with detailed destination city guides. As the editor of its Los Angeles and New York City editions, I worked remotely delivering daily, up-to-the-minute insider news on the most current restaurant, bar and hotel openings and special events, as well as high profile interviews and travel features on global destinations.

THE CATERER

2006 – 2013

Starting as a junior reporter, I worked my way up to being the face of the UK’s hospitality industry bible among chefs and restaurateurs. As the restaurant editor, I managed all restaurant and chef related content both in print and online, including news and features, podcasts and videos, blogs and newsletters, as well as inserts and supplements. I commissioned both journalists and non-professional writers, issuing detailed briefs and effectively editing copy and innovated and developed new sales and revenue streams through editorial projects and events. I also helped to launch The Caterer’s online presence on social media and created its successful Guide Girl blog.
